Due to this, I ripped it as usual, and listened to the FLAC files in their best quality. The album starts off with a bang (**Equinox Nights** and my favourite track on it, **Roll the Dice**). What follows next is a comparatively slow track (**Sinner / Saint**) with more melodic elements and a fantastic solo between the second and third third of the song. **The Morningstar** is yet another highlight for me, and one I hope to see live. It is superseeded by an "intermission" (**Ancient Creatures**) that feels like a villain intro for a cartoon. It leads directly into the heavy riffing of **Primal Overdrive**. **Primal Overdrive** might be the heaviest track on the album. Just before we get into the last third of the album in terms of song length, we get hit with **4 AM (What's It To You)**, yet another song just written to be enjoyed live. **Parasite**'s intro is reminiscent of [Overkill][1]'s **Ironbound**, but then the song shifts into a heavy melodeath anthem that can not be underestimated. Second to last, **The Seven** is the last single that was released before the album came out. The lyrics more cheesy than I'm used to with Irony of Fate, but it is nonetheless a very catchy and groovy track. Finishing off the great album is yet another highlight, but a more calm, final-sounding one (**Desert Song**). It is a great end to a great album. Congrats on the new release, and hopefully see you soon (live)! [1]: https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Overkill/168
